Meshuggah - I - The Movie

If you've never heard of Meshuggah (the band, not the yiddish word) this wont make any fucking sense. Even less if you've never heard their latest ep. That being said, the product of dank and Bawls: Originally posted here
I - The Movie Well, a script/screenplay anyway. I just can't get the idea that I is a black hole out of my head and if I don't write down a treatment for a visual interpretation I'm going to explode. 00:00 - 1:33: Ext: outer space. Camera orbits slowly around a large, dying star. As time moves closer to the eventual release, the camera moves closer and closer to the surface until it flies inside of the star. 1:33 - 1:55: The core contracts further and further until it cannot anymore, at which point... 1:56 - 2:45: Supernova. Massive amounts of the star's matter fly outward; carbon, oxygen, silicon and other heavy elements up to iron into space towards a now visable planet. 2:45 - 3:35: Planetfall. The matter ejected into space by the suprnova enters the atmopshere, raining fire and radiation upon the planet; burning away the planet's protective layers of radiation in the process. 3:36 - 4:56: Oceans start to bubble and boil, the human(?) population of the planet riots and decends into chaos, forests burn. The end of the world. 4:57 - 5:40: Brief flashes of TV and print media heralding the end of the world. Holy men call for pennance(sp?) and blame the sinners of the world for it's fate while quoting scripture (pick a religion), one of the holy men(on tv) slams a book of scripture shut at solo... 5:40 - 6:18: Scenes of humanity huddled in homes, bunkers, running wild in the streets. Praying, crying, shouting and cursing gods name. Chaos. 6:18 - 6:48: More rioting scenes from within a major metropolitan city. 6:49 - 7:08 Earthquakes begin to shake the massive city, making buildings way back and forth and the roads crack. 7:08 - 7:47: Roads split widely apart, people still running wildly on the streets fall into the pits, along with cars, animals and anything else left in open ground. 7:47 - 8:39: Silence. No people remain the street, no sound is heard and the earthquakes stop. Stillness. 8:40 - 10:33: A larger, more violent earthquake begins. Buildings crash to the ground with a roar; gas stations explode and set fire to the surrounding buildings and cars/trash left after the initial earthquakes. Pipes and other underground structures cave in causing massive sinkholes in the above city. Churches collapse upon themselves burying anyone left alive seeking shelter inside (virillent deterioration of faith...heh. 10:33 - 12:01: The massive amounts of raditation plus the breaking up of the earth cause the world's stockpile of nuclear weapons to detonate within housing silos. Any remaining humans are now gone, blasted away by the weapons made to "protect" them. Extinction ensues. 12:01: - 13:33: The camera moves back towards space, flying over the now-devastated planet. No oceans remain, only scorched black holes. Most of the surface is either smoking or already in flames. 13:33 - 14:44: Now in orbit, a slow eliptical shot of the ruined planet. The camera begins to move back to what remains of the star. 14:44 - 16:59: The star, having further collapsed into a neutron star cannot withstand the forces of gravity. After a milkdrop-esqe light show of the star collapsing into Nothing and then... 17:00 - 17:49: A black hole is born and it's birth-cry tears into open space, pulling the charred and dead planet towards it's maw. 17:49 - 20:19: The planet is now being literally ripped apart, with huge casms forming along the surface dwarfing the size of the grand canyon until the planet itself has been torn in half, pulled towards the opening of the black hole by it's event horizon, and crushed into nothingness 20:20 - end: What remains of the planet is blown out the other side of the black hole in a bright stream of matter. As the camera pulls away into "normal" space, a guitar with only a burnt, mangled neck remaining floats by with the E(?) string still vibrating, holding the final note of the song. That took way too fucking long to write. I'd like to thank weed, bawls and of course the guys for making me actually want to go through writing that. Hard to think of another band that inspiries this kind of imagery. Opinions? Yea I know I have way too much free time, tell me something I don't know.
Catch 33 (their new album) went on sale today. BUY IT.
